“Go Wholesale Srinakarin” – Great Value, Complete Selection, Everything in One Place

Grow with GO

Grow Faster, Go Further, Grow with GO Wholesale

It can be said that the launch of “GO Wholesale Srinakarin” has created a major buzz and shaken up the wholesale industry. On September 14, 2023, “Central,” Thailand’s retail giant, officially introduced its newest business venture, “Go Wholesale,” a wholesale distribution center designed to serve restaurant operators and small retail businesses. The move aims to challenge “Makro,” the leader in the wholesale business, while bringing in former top executive “Suchada Itthijarukul” to lead the new business division of Central Group.

Today marks a historic turning point for Thailand’s wholesale industry, as Central Food Wholesale officially opens its first GO Wholesale Srinakarin branch. Surrounded by major and emerging competitors, the branch covers more than 7,000 square meters and represents an investment of 375 million baht. It is designed to become a new destination for business operators, offering a large-scale food ingredient hub with more than 20,000 products sourced from around the world. The opening also coincided with the launch of Makro’s new look, creating a competitive atmosphere between the two major wholesale players.

Investing 20 Billion Baht for Growth

Looking at its advantages and strengths, GO Wholesale aims to win over competitors and attract customers through its services, wide range of products, and convenient payment solutions. Over the next five years, “GO Wholesale” plans to expand to more than 40–50 branches, with an average goal of opening one new branch per month, supported by an investment budget of 20 billion baht.

Srinakarin: A Prime Location and Strategic Growth Hub

As a newcomer in the wholesale market, GO Wholesale chose Srinakarin as the location for its first wholesale center because the area already has suitable space and strong purchasing power. The area is home to a large number of business operators, factories, offices, and residential communities. The food market in Samut Prakan alone is valued at over 100 billion baht, making it a significant market with more than 1.4 million people and 700,000 households.

This makes Samut Prakan a strategic location for business growth, allowing GO Wholesale to compete effectively and reach a wider mass market. This is also reflected in the presence of competing brands opening nearby. Ultimately, this competition represents a battle for consumer purchasing power, where each player must leverage its resources and strategic strengths to achieve a winning advantage.

GO Wholesale will be a new experience hub for Thai business operators, offering a wide range of services and benefits, including:

  • A large fresh food center, bringing the experience of the ocean and fresh fruit and vegetable farms all in one place.
  • Custom product preparation services based on customers’ needs at the meat, seafood (fish), and vegetable sections. The store also offers Dry Age beef services, allowing customers to purchase and store meat for aging according to their preferred duration.
  • One of Thailand’s most complete frozen food selections.
  • A hub for famous SME ingredients from all regions of Thailand, well-known among restaurant operators, such as curry pastes from the four regions, Kosol Chili Sauce from Chonburi, and Kwang Dao Thong Soy Sauce from Suphan Buri.
  • A consultation corner for those who want to start, expand, or develop beverage-related businesses.
  • Complete solutions for delivery and online businesses, including eco-friendly food packaging, adhesive tapes, and box stickers.
  • A Business Center providing business consultations to strengthen and support business growth.
  • “Workshop Rooms” where experts from various fields share knowledge and skills to help entrepreneurs improve their professional capabilities.
